About Living in Principle
Living in Principle is a halfway house and sober living home created for individuals who are ready to strengthen their recovery and rebuild life after addiction.
We provide a safe, drug- and alcohol-free environment where residents can develop routine, accountability, personal responsibility, and practical life skills. Our approach is rooted in the principles of 12-Step recovery and supports residents as they work toward stability, reintegration, and lasting sobriety.
Our facility provides a structured setting where residents can establish and maintain their sobriety, fostering a sense of personal responsibility and independence. We aim to help residents find freedom from destructive behaviors associated with addiction.

Our Mission
Our mission is to support individuals on their recovery journey through structure, compassion, accountability, and practical daily support. We help residents overcome challenges, rebuild responsibility, and move toward lasting wellness in recovery.
Our Commitment
Our team is committed to creating a supportive home environment where residents can grow, heal, and reclaim their lives with confidence. Through guidance, encouragement, and clear expectations, we help residents build a stronger foundation for sober living.
Reintegration With Structure
Living in Principle supports residents as they move from early recovery into greater personal responsibility, independence, and daily stability.
Phase One: Structure and Stabilisation
In the first phase, residents focus on settling into a constructive routine. Weekly planners help structure recovery activities, personal responsibilities, meeting attendance, sponsor work, step work, and spiritual maintenance.
Phase Two: Responsibility and Reintegration
Once residents have stabilised, the second phase encourages greater personal responsibility. Residents continue applying recovery principles while building integrity, independence, and accountability in everyday life.
Code of Conduct
Residents must adhere to our code of conduct and house rules, which include daily and weekly duties, zero tolerance for substances of abuse, and mandatory attendance at a prescribed number of meetings each week. Random drug tests may be conducted to ensure a substance-free environment.
